Independent concept project

Pulse Studio

The business problem

A fitness studio's site made it hard to find class times or take the first step, so interested visitors left without booking.

Design direction

A class-booking-first layout that puts the schedule and a single clear first step within reach on every screen, on every device.

Pulse Studio's homepage: a class-in-session photo beside the headline 'Your first class is the hard part. We've got it,' with Book Your First Class and See This Week's Classes buttons
Pulse Studio's homepage on a phone: the same hero content stacked for mobile, with Book Your First Class reachable without scrolling
Homepage design
Pulse Studio's full class timetable shown directly on the page, with day, time, class, and focus for every session and a Book Your First Class button
Key interaction
Pulse's old 2019-era template site: a generic stock-gradient hero reading 'Get Fit Today!' with a vague class list and a Download Schedule (PDF) link
Before — the 2019 template site
Pulse Studio's rebuilt homepage: a real class-in-session photo, the timetable one scroll away, and a single clear Book Your First Class button
After — the 2026 rebuild
